Know Your Rights
1. Am I free to choose the Collision Repair Shop? YES!! As the owner of a vehicle damaged in an accident, you are free to choose the shop where you wish to have your vehicle repaired. If, for example, your car has been towed to a particular repair facility by your insurance company, you are under no obligation to choose that shop for repair or refinish work. It's your right to insist on having your vehicle repaired at a quality ICN Collision Centre.
2. Must I notify my insurance company before authorizing any repair work? YES!! Do not give the "Go Ahead" to any repair work without notifying your insurance company or agent. Be sure to report the damage and let insurance company or agent know which ICN Collision Centre your vehicle can be inspected at.
3. Must I obtain three estimates? NO!! It is a common misconception that three seperate estimates are mandatory. Do not waste your time or that of several repair shops getting estimates. Just choose the ICN Collision Centre of your choice, that provides a written warranty and notify your insurance agent, broker or company of the choice you have made.
4. Does every repair shop guarantee their products and workmanship? NO!! Not every collision repair shop guarantee's their work. But you can feel confident knowing that all ICN Collision Centres offer a limited lifetime warranty on all refinish work because ICN partners use only quality parts and materials from start to finish in the repair of your automobile.
5. Can I expect my vehicle repaired to its pre-accident condition? YES!!- At each of the ICN Collision Centres, you can feel confident that the work performed will meet or exceed your expectations. And responsible auto insurance companies support your right to insist that your vehicle is completely repaired to pre-accident condition. |
